Venue Spotlight: High Country Orchards

One of the greatest things about being a wedding photographer is all of the incredible venues that I get to work with. I love getting to share with clients my favorite venues, to help them choose the perfect spot for their wedding day. High Country Orchards is one of those amazing venues that I will always encourage my couples to book for their wedding day. Keep reading to learn about all of the reasons why.

High Country Orchards is located in Green Bluff, WA, making it perfect for any Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho couples. More than just a wedding venue, they’ve also got a gift shop and bistro that guests can check out. The gift shop feels like it was styled by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Get the vibes without going all the way to Texas. Try their peach ice cream and fresh baked apple pie when you tour the venue!

The Amenities!

As a venue, High Country Orchards is a cut above the rest. They have the perfect space for the classic outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor reception, so you won’t have to worry about being rained out. The classic, big red barn seats up to 180 guests depending on arrangements, and the ceremony space accommodates up to 200.

This venue really goes above and beyond. They have a large play area for kids, and two ADA accessible bathrooms. They do all clean up after the wedding for you, so you can pack up and leave! No extra stress. High Country Orchards allows outside catering AND they allow you to bring in your own alcohol. You’ll just have to use their bartender for serving. Their venue pricing for 2022 starts at $7450, and they have all-inclusive packages available as well. Looking to elope somewhere else and just host a reception at HCO? They can do that too! Get Ready in Comfort

High Country Orchards has thought of everything. They have designated spaces for both the bride and groom to get married, complete with A/C. Put a big check mark next to that! So many venues don’t even offer a ‘getting ready’ area, and when they do, they’re often sweltering. You’ll be able to breathe easier, quite literally, in their air conditioned space.

Bonus: The groom's getting ready area has a pool table! Talk about a great way for all the guys to relax and have fun before the ceremony.

The Views

Closed for the winter, High Country Orchards is a phenomenal venue to get married at, spring through fall. Enjoy fresh blooms on the trees in the orchards in spring, lots of lush green and fresh fruit in the summer, and pumpkins and fields of tall yellow grass in the fall. The ceremony lawn is the perfect blank slate for whatever theme or color palette you have in mind for your day. The rich, warm colors in the barn make it warm and inviting for you and your guests.

Between it's proximity to Spokane in Green Bluff, the amazing views, and all the great amenities, High Country Orchards is a great choice for any couple. It's brings that country feel, but makes classy. Whether you are looking for pumpkins in the fall, or lush green trees in the summer, this venue is sure to stun. I love getting to help couples document their High Country Orchards weddings.
