Congratulations, you’re engaged! That shiny new ring looks amazing on your hand. You've just started the wedding planning process and now is the time to choose from all of the gorgeous Northern Idaho engagement session locations we have in this beautiful area. With so many to choose from it can get overwhelming fast. Maybe you don’t even know where to begin getting ideas! Don’t sweat it, I’ve got your back. Below are my favorite spots to host engagement sessions in Northern Idaho.
Black Bay Park, Post Falls
This massive and versatile park is right on the Spokane River. It offers stunning views and ease of access for your engagement session. Couples who have their engagement session here love how easy it is to get around, but that it feels like you're miles out of town in your photos. The park is 56 acres, so we won’t run out places to tuck away for lots of sweet moments. Schedule your engagement session for winter and bring along a sled for a super cute and unique, snow filled engagement session.
Falls Park, Post Falls
About half the size of Black Bay, but with all of the rugged mountain beauty you can get. This is another park that feels like it’s a million miles away from civilization. I’ll take you and your fiancé to get lost in the natural PNW beauty, without any actual chance of getting lost. Whether you’re into the tall stands of trees and mossy rocks, or prefer the epic bridge views for your photos, we can do it all here! It's not hard to see why this park has a spot in my top Northern Idaho engagement session locations.
Farragut State Park, Athol
State Parks in general make my heart sing, and Farragut is no exception. This 4,000 acre park is perfect for adventurous couples to host their engagement session. With so much space it’s easy to get away from other visitors and focus on each other. Maybe you fell in love over disc golf or paddle boarding and want to incorporate it into your session! At Farragut, you can. I’ll be right there to capture those sweet moments and connections. Take it easy with a breezy hike, or plan something a little more involved. Whatever the plan, your engagement session is going to be a blast at Farragut State Park.
Tubbs Hill, Coeur d'Alene
This 125 acre park is full of groomed, but natural trails full of lush greenery. It border’s Lake Coeur d’Alene and offers countless spots to cool off along the water’s edge. Once you’re inside, it’s hard to believe you’re practically downtown when it feels like you're in the middle of a forest.
Higgens Point, Coeur d'Alene
What many might just think is a lookout point and boat ramp, is truly a sweet and romantic spot for engagement sessions. This easy, one mile trail is right on the water and makes for a great spot to get saucy in Lake Coeur d’Alene with your fiancé.
We are so lucky to live in a place with this much nature and beauty so close to town. We’re never more than a mile or two away from a stunning trail or water’s edge that will be perfect for your engagement session. See the spot you love for your engagement session? I want to know!
